Posters should emphasize the negative aspect of arson, such as: deaths; injuries;community decay; moray decay; property destruction, etc.

Prizes will be awarded in each of the three categories:
Middle School (grades 7-8) Hand Drawing
High School (grades 10-12) Hand Drawing
NEW - Computer-Generated Artwork (Grades 7-12)
There will be matching awards for the school's art department.
OFFICIAL RULES
Eligibility: The middle school category is open to any Michigan student enrolled in grades 7-9. The high school category includes students in grades 10-12.
Deadline: Posters must be postmarked before midnight on March 15, 2008.
Mailing: Posters must be wrapped flat and mailed to IIM, 334 Townsend, Lansing. Michigan. 48933.
Poster
Specifications:
  1. Posters must be submitted on poster board.
  2. The overall dimensions should be approximately 15" x 20".
  3. We will not accept posters created by more than one person.
  4. All posters become property of the Michigan Chapter of International Association of Arson Investigators, Inc., unless a request for return is made in writing.
  5. Posters will be judged on theme, spelling, and quality of artwork.
  6. Posters that have been burned in any way will be disqualified.
Identification: The following must be on the back of the poster
  1. Artist's name, age, and grade
  2. Artist's home address and telephone number
  3. Name, address, and telephone number of school
  4. Name of art instructor or classroom teacher, if any.
